Morgan has Labor well in front again

There is no sign of a Tony Abbott led revival for the Liberal and National parties in today's Morgan Poll. The Melbourne pollster has the two party vote based on how preferences were distributed at the last federal election as Labor 59% to the Coalition's 41%.
The poll, conducted on a face-to-face basis on the weekends of December 5/6 and 12/13, was virtually the same (Labor is 0.5 higher) as in the last such face-to-face poll on November 28/29 when Malcolm Turnbull was still Opposition Leader.
Morgan has the Labor primary vote at 49% with the Coalition on 35.5% (of which the National Party contribution was 2%, the Greens 8%, Family First 1.5% and Others 6%.
